AXN and Mission to Escape have teamed up to create an innovative immersive experience that transports us to the universe of the “S.W.A.T” series.<\/strong><\/p>

Escape rooms exploded in 2014 and quickly spread across the country: they’re becoming more and more of a trend in entertainment, and it’s an experience you can do with groups of friends, family or even work colleagues. And what happens when AXN teams up with Mission to Escape, a Portuguese escape game company? Precisely. They create the country’s first mobile escape room – and promise to raise the bar for fun in this field.<\/p>

The game is called “Escape the Van S.W.A.T” and, unlike usual, it doesn’t take place in a room, but inside a van that will travel around Portugal from north to south. ” Basically, it’s a large vehicle with an escape room inside,” explains Miguel Correia, from Mission to Escape.<\/p>

Participants will have to “put their puzzle-solving skills to the test in this new channel activation, which transports us to the universe of the S.W.A.T series”, launched in 2017. With six seasons, “S.W.A.T: Task Force” is an adaptation of the classic 1970s series that followed this special force in their day-to-day operations and how they solved dangerous crimes.<\/p>
